What are my medical benefits?

  1. Preventive care is covered at 100 percent.
  2. You pay a $100 individual and $200 family annual deductible before the Medical Plan starts paying benefits (except for eligible prescription and preventive care services). Learn about how your deductible works.
  3. Once you meet the annual deductible, your care is covered when you use Legacy + Network providers:
    • Office visits and specialist visits are covered at 90 percent.*
    • Office visits, prescriptions, and lab work related to chronic conditions (asthma, diabetes, coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) are covered at 90 percent when you participate in the chronic conditions program.
  4. Emergency and urgent care are covered outside the network.

How do I use my medical benefits?

First, check to see if your provider is in network. Legacy’s third-party medical plan administrator, PacificSource, always has current in-network provider information. You can see a complete list of providers within the Legacy + Network online here or call PacificSource at 844-520-5347 to receive assistance over the phone. Show your PacificSource ID card before receiving care to use your medical benefits.

Am I getting a good deal on medical coverage through Legacy?

Our medical benefits are competitive and comprehensive. From a cost perspective, we pay less in monthly premiums than employees at similar health care organizations, both locally and nationally. We make adjustments to the Medical Plan based on annual comparisons to similar organizations and on employee feedback. This helps ensure the Plan continues to meet the needs of our employees and their families.
